USDA REVISES 2014 SOYBEAN CROP LOWER

Quartely Stocks Report

USDA released their quarterly stocks report Wednesday morning.  In the process, the 2014 soybean crop was revised downward to 3.927 billion bushels – a reduction of 42 million bushels of production.

 

2014 crop soybean ending stocks were reduced to 191 million bushels coming in below trade expectations but up from last year’s very tight ending stocks of 92 million bushels.

 

2014 crop corn ending stocks were reported at 1.731 billion bushels which was very close to expectations and up from last year’s ending stocks of 1.232 billion bushels.
