Stop by your local dairy farm to test your farm knowledge and have some tasty food!

TREMPEALEAU COUNTY “ON THE FARM” DAIRY BREAKFAST
Date: Saturday, June 9
Time:
6:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Location:
 Hamlin Valley Farms, LLC, N49128 County Rd V, Strum, WI
Directions: Farm is located 1.5 miles East of Hwy 93 on County Rd V near Strum
Cost:
Adults – $7, Children ages 6-12 years – $3, Kids under 6 – Free
Menu:
Pancakes, sausage, Wisconsin cheese, butter, apple juice, coffee, milk, batter fried cheese curds and ice cream
Activities:
Live music from 7:00-10:30 am.  Crowning of the new Trempealeau County Dairy Ambassador at 10:30 am.  On the farm radio broadcasting
Parking: Off-site parking available at Eleva-Strum High School, W23597 Hwy 10, busing provided to the farm.  Limited Handicap parking available at the farm – Handicap plates/Placard required.

RICE COUNTY DAY ON THE FARM

Details: June is dairy month and the Rice County ADA would like to invite you to a day on the diary farm. Enjoy tours, calves and a free waffle breakfast.  Come see where your milk comes from and enjoy fun for the whole family!

 

GOODHUE COUNTY BREAKFAST ON THE FARM

Time: 7:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Location: Perkin’s Dairy Farm, 30383 210th Ave, Red Wing, MN
Details: 
Come join us and help us celebrate June Dairy Month by enjoying a complimentary breakfast on the Perkin’s Dairy Farm.  Parking is limited, so please grab a ride to the farm on a bus.  Meeting places for the buses are Goodhue School and Menards in Red Wing.  Free breakfast with ice cream, farm tours, petting zoo, Name a Calf contest, Ag Cab Lab – tractor driving simulator, games and farm fun activities for kids, tractor and farm equipment display, milk “Annabelle” the cow, tub train rides for kids, KCUE Live radio broadcast 6-10 a.m.

 

OLMSTED COUNTY BREAKFAST ON THE FARM

Behounek Dairy, Inc., 21042 710th St, Hayfield, MN
Directions:
West of Rochester on Hwy 14 to Dodge County 15 (between Byron and Kasson) then South to 710th St., West to the farm
Cost:
Adults – $7, Children – $4, Kids under 5 – Free
Menu:
Pancakes, sausage, cheese, milk, juice and coffee
Activities:
Petting zoo, tractor drawn wagon rides, milking in a parlor, educational displays and exhibits
Parking:
Free bus rides from Autumn Ridge Church in SW Rochester or parking at the farm.

PIERCE COUNTY DAIRY BREAKFAST

Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 P.m.
Location:
Ti-Shi Dairy, LLC/Colbenson Family Farm, N6182 290th St, Elmwood, WI
Directions: Via Hwy 29, head south onto County Rd CC for about 5 miles.  Turn right onto County Rd G for 1 mile.  Turn left at the first cross street onto 290th St.  Farm is 0.4 mi ahead on left.  From Hwy 63 (E of Ellsworth) turn right onto County Rd G.  Proceed through the town of El Paso and continue on G until you come to 290th St.  Turn right and the farm will be 0.4 mile ahead.  Signs will be posted the morning of the breakfast.
Cost: Adults – $7, Children ages 5-11 years- $5, Kids under 4 – Free
Menu: Dad’s Belgain Waffles, sausage, syrup and whipped cream, Ellsworth Creamery deep-fried cheese curds, Culver’s of Baldwin custard, milk, coffee and water
Activities: A variety of kids activities, including a “corn” sandbox, petting zoo and free coloring books

FILLMORE COUNTY DAIRY NIGHT ON THE FARM
Date: Saturday, June 16
Time: 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Location: Roadside Dairy – Todd and Sue Hendrickson, 14163 241st Ave, Preston, MN
Directions: From Harmony, 8 miles west on County Road 44. Turn north at 241st Ave (Bristol) and go one mile
Cost: Free will donation
Activities: Farm Tour, dairy displays, inflatables, prize giveaways and dairy royalty
Menu: Cheese burgers, baked beans, cheese curds, milk and malts

WINONA CHAMBER FAMILY NIGHT ON THE FARM
Date: Wednesday, June 20
Time: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Location: Sobeck Brothers Farm
Directions: Parking will be at an off-site location to be announced. Shuttle busses will take you to the farm starting at 4 p.m. Buses will start at 4 p.m. and come every 20
minutes.
Cost: Free and open to the public
Menu: Family Style Picnic available – $7 adults, $4 children under 10 and $25 family (2 adults, up to 4 children)
Activities: Farm machinery displays, games, petting zoo, children’s train wagon, bounce house, tractor drawn hay wagon rides and live entertainment

WABASHA FAMILY NIGHT ON THE FARM

Directions: From Lake City – go about 13 Miles South on Hwy 63, turn Right on Co Rd 17, Farm is 1/2 mile on the Left.  From Zumbro Falls – go about 3 miles North on Hwy 63, turn Left on Co Rd 17, 1/2 mile on the Left.
Cost: $3 per meal
Activities: Fun for everyone – petting zoo, kids sand pile (with prizes), educational booths and milking parlor
