In their weekly Crop Progress and Condition report, NASS reported 19% of the corn crop planted nationally vs. 17% last year and 25% on average. Most states are at or behind their 5-year average. Minnesota is an exception at 38% complete vs. the 5-year average of 20%.
The soybean crop is 2% planted vs. 3% last year and 4% on average.
