The initial corn condition report from NASS was released and showed 74% of the corn crop rated good-excellent.

Progress continues to move ahead quickly with 92% of the corn crop planted.  Corn emergence is at 74% vs. 56% last year and 62% on average.  Soybean planting is 61% complete vs. 55% last year and on average.  Soybean emergence is at 32% vs. 23% last year and 25% on average.
