Starting Wednesday, June 15th at approximately Noon, (weather permitting) the intersection of Plum St and Main St (HWY 61) will close for about one week while construction on that intersection is completed.

Roads will be posted with signs downtown while the detour is on.

Traffic coming from Wisconsin or from the south on HWY 58 will detour to either Potter St or Bush street during the closure in the same manner as the previous closure.

As an alternate, traffic from the south can use Goodhue County Rd 6 to Goodhue County Rd 1 to HWY 61 to enter Red Wing Grain from the west.

When construction on the Plum St intersection is complete, Plum St will reopen and all traffic on HWY 61 will shift to the south side lanes.  All entrances and exits must be made via Broad St (YMCA) once traffic is moving on the south side.

Thank you for your patience during this time of construction!
