Red Wing Grain will begin receiving Thursday, March 16th.  We will be receiving March contracts and spot corn and soybeans from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.  The ice left Lake Pepin early this year and there were no large Lock & Dam projects to delay opening.  The first tows went through town last week and empty barges started arriving this week.
