In the past few months Ag Partners Management and its Board of Directors have met jointly with the Board and Management of Genesis Coop, located in LeSueur, to discuss a merger. There have been very productive conversations, facility tours and a lot of ideas put on the table.  The goal of the meetings were to study if a merger would bring value and benefit the members of both companies.

Both Boards met on Tuesday, September 12 and voted unanimously to move ahead and prepare a formal merger plan. Recently, the plan was reviewed and unanimously approved by both Boards. A voting notice will be sent to Genesis members with merger plans, details and a timetable.
