WEEKLY CROP PROGRESS

Weekly Crop Progress showed farmers were indeed very busy last week as they closed the gap in corn planting progress and are slightly ahead of the average pace of soybean planting.  Progress in Minnesota is noticeably behind the average pace.

Corn planting is 39% complete vs. 45% last year and 44% on average.

Soybean planting is 15% complete vs. 13% last year and 13% on average.
