The Weekly Crop Progress reports shows the US corn and soybean crops continue to quickly move ahead.  National corn and soybean planting and emergence are moving ahead of the 5-year average pace.  However there are regional disparities.  In general, the western belt crops are further along than the eastern belt states.  One big exception is  North Dakota where wet and cold conditions have left progress far behind and prevent plant dates are soon here.
