The Board of Directors of Ag Partners has established a scholarship program for dependent children of Ag Partners qualifying members. Up to twenty $1,000 awards will be granted this year to students who are high school seniors or recent high school graduates. Eligible applicants are students planning to enroll for the first time in a full-time undergraduate course of study at a two or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school. Awards are not renewable. A complete application is required by the deadline of March 1.
The scholarship program is a competitive application process, and recipients are hand-picked by an independent committee. Recipients are selected based on work experience, activities, awards and honors, volunteer activities, goals and aspirations, and unusual circumstances. An applicant appraisal by a high school counselor, advisor, instructor, or supervisor is required with the application. The selection committee is appointed by Ag Partners, however, in no instance does an officer or employee of Ag Partners play a part in selecting scholarship recipients. All applicants agree to accept the decision of this independent committee as final.
Arrangements will be made to notify scholarship award recipients by Ag Partners in the spring. Ag Partners will process payments on awards in early September.
