Roadside Cleanup

On Wednesday, November 5, a handful of Ag Partners staff put on their boots and high-vis vests to pick up trash along Highway 52, just north of Pine Island. Ag Partners has been sponsoring this section through the Adopt-a-Highway program since 2021, and has committed to a bi-annual cleanup day. With the weather providing for a strong start to Harvest in October, our usual early October day was pushed back to November. We were still fortunate enough to have sunshine and enough volunteers to get it done. We filled 12 bags of trash, plus a few extra large items. Is anyone missing a full piece of deck board!? We’re happy to do our part, and it was nice to see a little less trash this time around.
