Feed Delivery Driver

Estimated rate of pay:     $65,000+ /year, expect overtime with bonus potential

Job Summary:

This position performs routine daily truck driving responsibilities including Bag, Bulk, Semi and Straight Truck delivering feed and/or product to our customers, while ensuring professional, quality service to meet our growing customer and industry needs. Employees must have a positive attitude, be willing to work within a team atmosphere, and be safety focused.


  • Deliver bag and/or bulk feeds to customers as ordered.
  • Unload bag and bulk feed at customers farms according to directions.
  • Climb ladders and bins as delivery tickets specify or as needed.
  • Maintain both truck chassis and trailer/body accordingly.
  • Operate delivery unit to specified standards.
  • Perform regular routine maintenance as needed or scheduled.
  • Comply with all DOT rules and regulations.
  • Comply with all company rules and written procedures.
  • Understand all required sequencing and flushing procedures.
  • Comply to all HACCP Feed Safety Procedures.
  • Completely fill out required daily and weekly paperwork.
  • Maintain high standard of feed quality.
  • Ensure accuracy in all duties performed.
  • Work in other areas as time and scheduling allows.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • ability to interact with customers and co-workers, professionally and respectfully.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter that is willing to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to operate forklift and pallet jack.

Education and Experience:

  • Class B CDL with Air Brake Endorsement.
  • Willing to acquire Class A License.
  • Driving history shows a pattern of safe vehicle operation.
  • Agricultural background preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift minimum of 60 lbs.
  • Sit in a driving position for prolonged periods of time.
  • Work extra hours as need to get all feeds delivered each day as needed or required.
  • Ability to climb to expected standards
