Job Summary:

This position will assist the Grain department during the fall grain harvest.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Load outgoing trucks.
•  Unload incoming grain.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning around facilities.
• Observe all safety procedures.
• Keep the work site clean and neat.
• Respond to customers promptly and respectfully.
• Report needed repairs to management promptly.
• Comply with OSHA, MDA, EPA, PCA and other regulatory requirements and company policies.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner.
• Ability to multi-task and work with little supervision.

Education and Experience:

• Previous grain handling experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift and carry 60 pounds of weight.
• Able to meet physical job demands or repetitive lifting, extended periods of standing/walking, and performing tasks in outdoor environment during fall weather conditions.
• Must be willing and able to climb bins and grain legs.
